Alesha E. Churba, owner of A.E.Churba Design, is a Certified Aging in Place Specialist, an interior designer and a full-time instructor in the Computer Aided Design Drafting (CADD) program at Idaho State University College of Technology. She emphasizes the need and importance of safety, comfort and low maintenance through interior design for baby boomers and beyond.
Alesha has over ten years of practical, hands on experience in both commercial and residential interior design. She has completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Family and Consumer Economics and an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Design Drafting through Idaho State University and is currently working on her Masters Degree in Human Resource Training and Development. She holds a Post Secondary Professional Technical Education Certification in the State of Idaho and her training has included education in NKBA Kitchen and Bath Design, NAHB CAPS Certification and CEUS in Universal Design through ASID and AIA in addition to Post Secondary Technical Educator Courses.
Alesha is a member of the Sandwich Generation working as both a single mother and caretaker to her senior parents who are choosing to age in place.
