Interior Designer Chat will  join renowned Antiques Dealers and Artisans at The Antique & Design Center of High Point, located at Market Square.  High Point Market is the largest Home Furnishings Industry trade show in the world,  bringing more than 85,000 buyers to High Point every six months.

The Antique & Design Center’s Managing Director, Karen Luisana, says, “The character of historic Market Square has long made it a favorite haunt of the Market’s hippest buyers, designers, and trend-setters.   If you are attending High Point Market,  you can join Barbara Segal,  as she hosts a series of Educational Events on April 5, 2011, plus a Designer Tweet up cocktail party and our weekly Tuesday #IntDesignerChat live.

With over 50 Antiques Exhibitors, combined with the passions of our Interior Designer Chat Community this weeks @IntDesignerChat is sure to bring an International quality and passion to the Topic:  Designing with  Antiques, one-of-a-kind artisan made objects, jewelry and art.

3:30-4:45 p.m. — The Value of Social Media in Today’s Design World, Barbara Segal, founder, Interior Designer Chat.

5-6 p.m. — Designer Tweet-Up. Refresh and network with tweeters, Antique & Design Center Internet Cafe, Market Square, Mezzanine.

6-7 p.m. — Interior Designer Chat hosted live by Barbara Segal, founder, Interior Designer Chat, a community of interior designers, interior architects, design bloggers and others in the home decor, gift and furniture industries.
