Andrew Dunning Guest Host
Andrew Dunning spent his early years working in the City of London before leaving to pursue his real passion of creating stunning homes for people. In 2004 he founded APD Interiors which aims to provide “Stylish Homes at affordable prices”. He has constantly focussed on the client ensuring that he turns their needs and hopes into something far more than their dreams. He writes for City AM (a 150,000 circulation newspaper in London), Real Homes magazine and has been featured in the Evening Standard (a 600,000 circulation newspaper in London). He has worked in London, Amsterdam, and even Savannah, GA for a range of clients from the well off to the not so well off, but always ensuring that he listens to the client and delivers their aspirations.
In 2010 Andrew joined the new media revolution, started a blog and entered into twittering. From a lowly following of a few fans he now has nearly 6000 twitter followers and a daily readership of his blog of more than 200 all of whom hang on his every word. This year he won the Decorex blogger of the year award (see link for how it all happened http://www.decorex.com/page.cfm/link=175 ). This prestigious event is the place to be seen at by the who’s who of interior designers in the UK and Europe. In addition in Twitter he is the UK ambassador for Interior Design Chat where top industry experts and hosts get together to discuss the latest key issues in the Interior Design world and promote Interior Design as an industry the same as Architecture.
Andrew continues to build his interior design business and last year increased his turn over by a factor of 10 and has begun to recruit new staff who he is training in order to “put something back” into the industry that has looked after him so well. He can be contacted either through twitter, or via his website www.apdinteriors.com
